Chili is an American dish that's surprisingly controversial. Some claim that real chili is made only from chili peppers, no meat or beans. Others claim it's peppers and meat, no beans. Those people would find this recipe offensive, I suppose.

Ingredients
1 diced onion
1 diced jalapeno pepper
5 cloves garlic, diced
2 tbl oil
1/2 tbl black pepper
1/2 tbl chili powder
1/2 tbl cayanne pepper
1/2 tbl crushed red pepper
1 can chili beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans

Directions
  1. Cook onions, garlic, jalapenos in oil until onions are translucent

  2. Add beans. and spices. Cook another couple of minutes.

Serve as is, or with diced onions and/or cheese on top. If you serve with rice this is a complete protein. [an error occurred while processing this directive]
