Potatoes Au Gratin

I don't know what to call this, it's just how I make potatoes.

5 medium potatoes
1 mediumonion, chopped
2 clovesgarlic, chopped
1/2 bag frozen pepper strips
3 tbl oil
1 tbl rosemary
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup grated chedder/jack cheese


  1. Chop the potatoes into chunks 1/2" on a side, or slice the potatoes in half then into 1/4" thick slices.

  2. In a large skillet heat half of the oil over medium-high heat. Fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes, turning a couple times.

  3. Add the onions and garlic and remainder of the oil, continue cooking and stirring for another 5 minutes.

  4. Add the pepper slices, continue cooking and stirring another 5 minutes. Continue cooking until the potatoes are cooked through.

  5. Add the rosemary and pepper, stir for a minute.

  6. Add the cheese, stir until the cheese is all melted in, about a minute. Serve.
