Sour Cream Cookies

My family recipe for unusual cookies.

Ingredients
2 sticksbutter
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
16 oz sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
5 1/2 cupflour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Mix shortening, eggs, sugar.

  2. Add sour cream, vanilla, mix.

  3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Mix.

  4. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes.

Optionally add powdered sugar frosting and sprinkles. They're better naked.
